Budget increases National Living and Minimum Wage from April 2018

Last week it was announced in the Autumn 2017 Budget that the National Living Wage and Minimum Wage are set to increase from the 1 April 2018. The new amounts are below for information.

There was also an increase announced for Statutory Maternity Pay, Statutory Paternity Pay and Statutory Shared Parental Pay which will usually apply from the first Sunday in April, which is 1st April 2018. Also increasing from this date, will be Statutory Adoption Pay. This is payable at 90% of average earnings for 6 weeks and then at the rates below, unless 90% is less than £145.18.

Increases for Statutory Sick Pay as listed below are expected to be applicable from 6th April 2018.
